I’ve become a regular attendee to the Make It! Edmonton craft fair (though it was most recently held in St Albert). It does usually take some convincing to get my mum there too – but she ends up finding stuff there for her as well. Of course, you’ve got your regular expected merch – photos, jewellery, hand-made clothing. Then there’s also food stands. Dried soup base from Vancouver, flavoured peanut butter, chocolates… What drew my eye, though, was the playful array of delicious looking cookies at the Confetti Sweets stand! I opted for a sugar cookie (complete with rainbow sprinkles) and a double chocolate. Both were chewy and delicious. That sugar cookie, I gotta say, was the best bought one I’ve ever had. I feel like these would make adorable party favours.
